Each of our projects meets the SDGs and the pillars of sustainability:

Environment: We care, preserve and respect ecosystems, encourage responsible use of natural resources, implementing productive reforestation.

Social: We link and involve the entire population of communities with different lines of work, under the principles of decent, equitable and well-paid work.

Cultural: We respect the cultural identity of each community and contribute to the non-disappearance of its roots, including its traditions, symbols, cosmovence, among others within each project.

Economic: Through productive projects that enhance their culture, for self-sufficiency in their income and generating independence.

We want to leave the world better than we find it. We give all our knowledge, skill and love to the service of the most needy communities.

This great Organization, born of the great dream of Vanesa Giraldo López, Founder and President
from ALMAGUA. A passion to contribute to the world and to existence in an exemplary, human and integral way, with the vision of generating decent progress in places where the offer of opportunity is limited.

On one of his trips through the Colombian Amazon in 2018, he fell in love with the Yaguas Indigenous Community, its culture, its cosmovence and its desire to move forward despite vulnerability. A few days after that trip, he began to holistically structure ALMAGUA to improve his living conditions. It came true a few months later.

Today it is an Organization that at the global level has joined extraordinary human beings, with the same sensitivity and intention to protect, preserve and enhance the responsible and selfless world with all the heart, vision and good faith, so as to transform it and leave it better than it was found.

To contribute as an articulating body of public, private and community social, network and institutional capacities to the management of the sustainable development of various territories in Colombia.
